We Saw It coming

So it looks like the left has brought out the big guns for the next election, none other Oprah Winfrey, the queen of media herself.

She came out at the golden globes and accepted a lifetime achievement award, firstly the whole Hollywood self glorification with every single award ceremony just disgusts me to my core. She starts off by comparing herself to Sidney Poitier when he won the first ever academy award as a black person in 1964. Talk about virtue signally on a grand scale, like there are no other acknowledged people of the same race or gender ever, no even in music or sports? Wonder what a Beyonce is?

Then she thanked the press, how very important the Hollywood press are that literally only report on what celebrities do, I felt my IQ dropping a few points as I was watching this. The worst for me was her idea of "your truth", there is no such thing, there the truth and your opinion.

The best summary I've found on this very particular topic is good old Ben Shapiro, he touches on something really interesting in this interview. Where was she for the last 20 year while this sexual harassment was going on, but somehow she is the bravest person alive right now for talking about it? It's just so amazing being lectured by the people who are just the most scandalous.
