Pickle RICKKKK !!!!!!

If you have not heard or Rick and Morty you need to climb out from under the rock you have been under. I realize it is not everyones cup of tea but this series in my opinion is one of the most imaginative and creative to be released in a long time.

Ok we may have jumped ahead with the title of Pickle Rick but this in my mind is one of the best episodes. Rick transforms himself into a pickle, yes, you read that right, a pickle!!

I would love to have been a fly on the wall at the design meeting... here is an excerpt from an interview of Dan Harmon with Fast company

"I think it was a case of somebody just saying, 'What if we started the episode this way, with him turning himself into a pickle?' [...] Then the question became, 'If we say yes to that, why would he have turned himself into a pickle?' And the first answer was, 'Well, because he could and Rick is his own worst enemy and he'd want to prove himself.' Then the family therapy concept came in there because we started asking ourselves how could we keep addressing the divorce story of the season."

Rick is doing everything he can to get out of a family therapy meeting with his daughter (Judith) and his grand kids Summer and Morty. Morty is Ricks main accomplice in the show. Rick is the type of guy who would challenge himself to come up with a brilliant yet demented scheme to get out of what he would see as a deeming task in therapy. Which is to be conducted by Dr. Wong (Susan Sarandon)

After getting washed down a drain into the sewers he uses his brilliant intellect to construct a suit out of cockroach parts.

This suit of course is only a stepping stone to the ultimate suit which comes next. This suit consists of rat body parts that he has slaughtered.

The episode spirals into an ultimate face-off between pickle Rick and Jaguar (Danny Trejo). Which has an unexpected twist. I really could go on and on and on about the series and this episode but I really don't want to ruin it for you. I strongly urge you all to go and check out Rick and Morty from Adult Swim!
