WTF EU BANNED MEMES UNDER COPYRIGHT!!!!!

EU Parliament sent out a bill 5 days ago banning specific kind of memes, with photos and images taken from movies which are copyrighted are now banned from being used and this absolutely pisses me off.

First of all, with all the problems occurring in EU why is it that you ban memes of all things, I mean what harm does memes pose?

They’ve incurred the wrath of the internet i tell you and do you know the most affected people in this whole debacle is? Youtubers.

Yes, their videos will now be flagged for using memes from movies and other copyrighted bullshit. Copyright exists to protect a persons work to be exploited for financial gain, however a meme isn’t that persons once it’s been created, it belongs to someone else.

The person who created the meme can do whatever they want and movie memes provide the best content possible, a meme a day can save people from reality, think about it? The laughs a meme can provide is pure gold.

The golden era of memes when there was Sean bean or keanu reeves or that cute baby who was like “yeah I’ve done it”. What will happen to them? They’ll be lost forever, under copy fuckin right.
