"When I Was A Kid" Challenge Post (the sound that haunted our access to the world)
This, very much, reminds me of my childhood! I got into PC gaming as a young lad, lol, just as a casual enjoyment. I played chess with my Dad at a young age, and therefore enjoyed strategy games. I regularly remember hearing this ring throughout the house, especially given my parents work for big business, and home office, at the time. Anyway, I'm going to avoid rambling about the explosion of change around us since this damn noise, lol!! We all have experienced pieces of it, large or small, but without it...(would we live in caves, again?) We should all be eternally grateful, lol. #iwasakid

I absolutely hated that sound. We use to have piles of AOL trial disks by the computer... LOL... Also, we only had one telephone line so we couldn't use the phone while someone was on the internet. LOL... Nowadays we really take the internet for granted... Who would have imagined that we'd have wifi... ...Thanks for making this. This brought back so many memories.
