This kid is never gonna live this down

So, my buddy was a wide receiver on our high school football team. Late in the season, we had a big game with our cross-town rivals. Fourth quarter, down three, three minutes to go. We run a play action pass and the safety bites. My buddy streaks down the left sideline and catches the ball at about the 50 heading for the end zone unchallenged. That is, until our rival's linebacker turned on the afterburners and closed what looked to be an unclosable fifteen yard gap, slinging my now disgraced friend to the ground at the 5. We ran three times trying to punch it in to no avail and set up for the game-tying field goal with thirty-five seconds left. Blocked. Game over. We still make fun of him 15 years later for being tracked down by an LB. I can only imagine how bad this kid is getting it from his team for getting caught by a KICKER
