As someone that has recently been divorced I completely agree with this photo. Though I try to keep an open mind and believe some couples love is healthy and will never die out.
A marriage is a contract, but it's also voluntary. Handcuffs imply that it's unwilling. When you marry someone you're saying, "I trust this person more than anyone else." If you can't say that then you shouldn't get married. I'm happily married because my husband and I talk about everything, especially things that are bothering us about each other so we can figure out how to fix it. I think most people are afraid to be completely transparent with their significant others which is why marriage sometimes fails.
