Epic Rap Battles of 2k17: STEEMIT Chat Edition

Hi fellow Steemians, Phillip here with a very special post featuring some of my favorite people. We were having a regular old conversation in the #general chat when suddenly... A RAP BATTLE COMMENCES!

It started with the lovely @thepinkbyhamann (sarahrie on steemit chat) and @Akrid duking it out.

The battle was as follows:

Sarah comes in with quite the first swing. Then Akrid comes back pretty strong.

@akrid you stepped up, but you shoulda sat down, I got the sickest beat, im the mouth of the South, fix your grammar, then fix your face, little boy, get back in your place, don't open your lips, you can't back it up, chill out baby, im all about love

She keeps it positive, but Akrid comes back pretty hard.

dammit lady, I swear you must be satin. every time you rap you get closer to levitatin. I must admit I didn't expect a fight, at least not someone so evil to rule the night. I give you credit but when all is said and done, I have to end you quick, i'm sorry your not the one. Take your weak ass raps back to the stix, sing with a bit of twang and pucker your pretty lips.

Sarah starts to get the upper hand once again and overtake Akrid.

@sarahrie you best believe i'm spittin rusty bars, infectious tetanus infesting just beneath the scars. My rhymes cut deep and cauterize the heart. If you can't take the heat, don't even fucking start. So I have to step back, I must have dropped my guard. GG you win, meanest pitbull in the yard

At this point, Sarah has dropped the mic completely. She has murdered her first victim, but receives another challenge. Joviandres jumps in to try and take her down.

Things continue to heat up. By now, I'm sure you can feel the fire from these bars.

And with the last response received, it was pretty clear who had won. @thepinkbyhamann had laid down the final words putting her opponent to rest.
