Top 5 Reasons Why Your Post Isn't Getting Noticed

in #funny8 years ago (edited)

5.) You're Posting About The Wrong Things

We all know that people on Steemit only like five topics and those topics are Steemit, Cryptocurrenies/Finance, Self Introductions, Makeup, and Travel. If you aren't posting about one of those things, your blog just isn't going to get noticed.

4.) Your Using Stock Images in your Posts

We all know that everyone on Steemit is an artist, capable of taking beautiful photography for every topic they are interested in discussing. Sure you wrote a nice blog post, with insight, creativity, heart and passion. None of that matters because you used an image from the internet to draw your story together! Forget about your post getting noticed, you're done son.

3.) You Don't Have Bots Upvoting Your Content

We all know how important the @wang bot is in generating interest in content, its upvote is worth over $10! If you don't have the bots on your side, chances are your content just isn't going to get noticed. I mean, personally, I would never consider upvoting content I enjoy, unless a bot has also upvoted it.

2.) You Aren't Personal Friends With The Whales

We all know that everyone on Steemit is just a money chaser, and that the whales only upvote their friends and dole money out that way. So the only way to attract real attention to your self is to be connected to the whales. Then people will further upvote your content just for the curation rewards. If you aren't friends with the whales, your post just isn't going to get noticed enough.

1.) You Believe Any of the 4 Things Listed Above

This was a joke poking fun at all of the posts putting blame on others for why their posts don't succeed. In the end it doesn't matter the topic, it just matters the quality and desire of the post. If you are discussing something you like, people will pick up on your energy. We all know positive energy is infectious, so just keep at it people will get hip to your jive in time!

Extra: One real thing to take into consideration for getting noticed is actually timing, when you post your blog is perhaps as important as what you have posted. Take a look at the successful posts and what time of day those people have posted. Many of them are posted at similar times. Timing and getting noticed are actually related.

Sort:

I'm with you on the timing thing, 3 am posts seem to get lost!

Yeah, that's the only serious thing that I have noticed.
