Well, when you talk about ass licking, there are basically two types of it.

The first one which is the real ass licking which involves a probable act of sex.

And the second one is usually spelt arse licking which is an act of being obsequious in a bid to gain favour.

Everyone in a way licks arses at one point or the other, but there are different categories of arse licking.

Some people have argued that, to succeed on Steemit, you need to be an arse licker. Well, that is just the way the Steemit platform have been built and while I am not in favour or against arse licking, everyone has licked arses before but perhaps, they have their own definition of arse licking. The truth however is, everyone must have licked arses in a way to get to wherever they are.

Now, let’s look at the different categories of arse licking…..
P.S: This is just for fun and all definitions of the different types of arse licking were made up by me.

1. Pragmatic Arse Licker

Pragmatic arse lickers are arse lickers who admit to the fact of licking arses. They know what they are doing and they admit to the fact.
In my previous employment, there was one employee who would always go the extra mile to try and please the Boss.
Our Boss would always come visit us on Fridays and we all know that Fridays in some organizations are for casual wears.
This guy would still put on a corporate wear and will go as far as carrying her bag even when she has someone who is paid to do that.
He will go with her to her office in the name of helping her and when he gets back, we will all tease him but the funny thing is that, he would admit that he was doing all that to get noticed and liked by management. They lick arses and they are proud of it.

2. Excessive Arse Licker

An excessive arse licker is one that licks arses and does it excessively. They go over the board at it when everyone else is trying to be minimal. You can see someone licking a person’s shoe claiming that they respect the person just to get favour from the person. The excessive arse licker goes the extra mile in doing things that are somewhat unimaginable.

3. Ex Arse Licker

Do you know why some people claim they have not licked arses before? It is because they have probably passed the stage of licking arses as they have done it in time past. They are the retired arse lickers. They stopped licking arses because they probably got what they wanted or have achieved some feats/heights which makes it too demeaning for them to continue licking arses.

4. Reticent Arse Licker

The reticent arse licker is one who licks arses codedly. You don’t find them openly licking arses but they do. They may even come out to say they have never licked arses before. They keep silent about it and pretend they know nothing about licking arses.
In an organization, a reticent arse licker may be the one who will always disdain a person’s effort to please the Boss. But they will still go behind bars and perform acts of arse licking without the notice of people.

Lol, like I said, these are just personal definitions of arse licking and may of course differ from yours.
