I used to run a bar in Asia and I never saw this until tonight!
This is a picture I took of a gecko standing up on the rim of the beer collection tray and drinking away. It was there for about 4 minutes and left very drunk!

I know that other animals ingest alcohol sometimes. I have had a few dogs and cows who loved malt beer. However I have never seen a gecko in all my time in Asia drinking like I did here. I wish I could have taken a video but it wouldn't have been possible...
