I make that face whenever women ask men these kinds of questions. Women are really just looking for validation but that's not how men think. Men see questions concretely we don't read the question behind the question. "Do I look fat?" To a man is "do I look fat?" To a woman it means "are you still attracted to me?"

If women just ask men the right questions they will get better answers. As the saying goes "play stupid games win stupid prizes".
