It's official, Hell is a metaphor. The Pope's shocking discourse spreads all over the world!

That was the declaration of the Pope Francis after the end of The Third Council of the Vatican which also is the largest and most important since the Second Council ended in 1962.

So that place that inspired fear in the human soul and minds since the beginning of Christianity is just a metaphor. And they needed 2017 years to realize that. 2017 that for some people the fear of eternal suffering was the main reason for them to say a prayer and to go to church. I've never been the religious guy but let's be honest, now I am really confused.

In my mind right now things are like this. If Hell is a metaphor then Heaven is also a metaphor, then maybe other things in the Bible are metaphors, maybe the Bible itself is a metaphor and finally, you may say that God is a metaphor for love, help, sacrifice and other things that church say that God requires from us.

Pope said: "Like the Fabula about Adam and Eve, hell is nothing more than a literary mechanism. Hell is but a metaphor for the isolated soul who, like all souls, will come to unite in love with God. " so, you mean that all the sinners are not going to hell, but just for a walk and in the end they will still be reunited with God? Then I'll keep going to lie my girlfriend, that I like her friends and that red dress is not making her fat. After all...is just a walk.

The Pope also said: "All religions are true because they are true in the hearts of those who believe in them. What other truth is there? In the past, the Church was tough with those they thought were morally wrong or that they were sinning.

''Was tough''? Do you remember what a crusade is? No? Let me remember you. You build armies and sent children, husbands, uncles, sons overseas to fight and kill sinners, non-believers and people who believe in their God, who is our God only that it has another name.

"Through humility, the study of the soul and meditation through prayer, we have succeeded in understanding certain dogmas." Really !? You want to tell the world and to all the God children that through prayer and study you understand those dogmas? Oh…that’s what you really said… You needed to pray and meditate to find out that God really loves us all not matter of our religion or sexual orientation.

‘’God is not a judge, but a friend and a lover of humanity. God does not seek to condemn, but to embrace.'' said the pope. It's a little too late to say that don't you think. It’s not like some religious fanatics killed a homosexual, heterosexual, atheists and let's don't forget about the other religious fanatics that use bombs and other stuff..but that’s another story.

‘’God changes and evolves, just like we do'' All right. Maybe I am a little too crazy but God is not that Supreme being who loves us and also knows everything?
Everything that we do, have done and we will do? At least here in my country, that is what our church tell us. You say that God evolves. He possesses the supreme intellect and he knows everything and you tell me that He evolves. What’s God? A Pokemon that needed 2017 years to evolve !?

''The Bible is a beautiful holy book, but like all the important old books, some passages are outdated. Some even urge us into intolerance and prejudice.'' Yes! you are right that it has in its intolerance and prejudice but you remember how many people died in the past trying to tell to the church those things? It's a six digits number.

After all this, my conclusion is that church is searching for some excuses and also is seeing that the new generations are not so excited when they hear the word ''church''. So right now the mighty institution is trying to find a new way to attract teenagers. This is a good thing but maybe it's done in a wrong way. I think that the Pope rushed his declarations because it's a contradiction to say that God evolves like us humans, it's a contradiction to what the Church has sustained all this time.

Maybe I'm opening a delicate subject now but what's your opinion about what Pope said?
