Funny signs / Engrish

If you live in Asia long enough, actually if you are just here for a little while, you are going to see some funny signs and products with very bad English. I don't think badly of these people because I BARELY speak Thai, and know how difficult it is to make the transition from English to an Asian language. It is very difficult. However, that doesn't mean that I am not going to laugh when they make mistakes.

Immigration is one of the most arrogant parts of any country's operation. They refuse to accept even free help from people because they already know better than you. This is why they frequently have helpful signs that aren't exactly very helpful.

When I am shopping at a place like Makro or Tesco, it is important to always check closely. While these are international brands, the management is local and therefore some real gems can be found in the translation.

pork and beef are great and all, but they cannot hold a candle to "N"

This is from a street food cart and I wonder if they simply copy and pasted the wrong thing to make their sign. I wonder what "N" is? Maybe the "chicke" got cropped somehow.

This is also an international ice - cream company and it was very quickly changed. However, it was a lot of fun while we had it on the shelves.

Disclaimer: I don't want anyone to get their feelings hurt. I am not picking on countries where English is not their native-language for not being able to pull it off perfectly. Lord knows that if i were to write something, even a sign, in Thai, it would be equally as hilarious and likely wouldn't make sense at all.
