The most expensive chicken on earth
You may have seen a lot of chicken colours but this special chicken breed is so different. I don’t know whether this kind of chicken exists in other country or not. I Googled it to know more and even to know how much this black chicken costs. I saw pictures of this particular breed. Wonders shall never end in this world.
The breed is known as Ayam Cemani originating in Indonesia. It is a weird one. Everything in it is black from skin, bones, eyes, ears, combs, wattles even organs like liver, lungs and heart. A very special breed. Some say it is the best chicken meat in the world.
It’s among the most expensive chicken breeds in the world. A fully grown chicken could cost you $2500. Believe it or not. The blackness is due to a genetic trait known as fibromelanosis in which the cells tend to have too much melanin.The breed is so rare and that’s why it’s so expensive.

Ayam Cemani, also know as “Lamborghini of poultry”, is one of the most expensive chickens in the world with a single bird costing up to $2,500. The word 'Ayam' means 'chicken' in Indonesian, and 'Cemani' translates to 'completely black' in Javanese.

Yup it's kind of funny to see and actually i have a couple here in di ndonesia ... but sad to say people bought on cheap price here ... it will noy go above $100 while on other country theirhas big value
I know it might be a silly question but..... can't you export them ? or sell the eggs to tourists ?
Not to aure about it ... i guest you can do that ... but u need to ask owner of the pet to make a certificate health stetament of the pet ... it cost about $5/6 ..... last time my friend do that from us to here indonesia he brought me a corn snake to me ..... so i can u do from here to somewhere alse too...
