There are plenty of hit songs on the radio that may sound hip, cool, catchy, and new to your ears and hits on the spot for the mood of the moment. But these songs just become so damn irritating to your auditory nerves whenever and wherever they are played all over again.

In this post, we are going to discuss the top ten most irritating songs played on the greatest sound transmission device ever invented by man: the radio.

10. Crazy Frog - Axel F

“Crazy Frog - Axel F” is just a 2005 techno-remix of "Axel F".

Axel F" is the electronic instrumental theme from the 1984 film Beverly Hills Cop performed by Harold Faltermeyer. It was an international number 1 hit in 1985.

All I can say that it is such a ridiculous song that I think that the original is quite good enough and not to be messed up with. It is fine hearing it once or twice but anymore than that can slowly transform you psychologically into that animated crazy frog character.

9. James Blunt - You're Beautiful

This is a popular song used at weddings. It is a song about seeing a beautiful lady on the subway and the singer is sad because he can’t be with her.

There’s nothing wrong with a beautiful, cheesy and sad love song but it is damn annoying when you’re not in the hots for somebody and you keep hearing it over and over again on the radio.

8. Rebecca Black – Friday

When this song was released on Youtube on March 14, 2011, few people would realize how wildly popular this song would get. It’s only about a girl getting ready for school and just happy that it was Friday.

The song and the music video was so bad that it became a massive hit. Try singing the chorus part yourself and ask your friends if they like your version.

7. Who Let the Dogs Out - Baha Men

Now the hip-hop group who performed it might be forgettable but I will never forget this over-played song. It seems that whenever there’s a feature about dogs on mass media, this is played in the background.

6. Village People - YMCA

Most people could probably handle this classic disco song for awhile. It is fun to play it once or twice at parties. But please, no more than that.

5. Rednex - Cotton Eye Joe

Anyone near the vicinity of a loud crap party will probably hear this song being played. Popular since 1995, it made line dancing cool again. And then every one hated it.

4. Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen

This is the really ultimate, irritating teenage pop song. It is sickly sweet and it still being played everywhere as long as teenagers exist in this world.

3. Baby - Justin Bieber

This is the most irritating-to-the-ears Justin Bieber song ever. The lyrics and the melody are maybe disturbingly catchy but I really dislike that arrogant kid when he let that fame got through his head.

2. Eiffel 65 - Blue (Da Ba Dee)

I use to bob my head to the beat of this song when it first came out in 1999 and now I am ashamed to admit I did that. The song now sounds very retarded and gives the color blue a bad name.

1. Barbie Girl – Aqua

A hit song released by Danish-Norwegian dance-pop group Aqua in 1997. Its music for some people ever since but for a lot people, its just pain to the ears.

For a song about the Barbie doll it is amazing that it has been popular for so long and is still playing on radios and parties.

That's it. The stupid and childish pop song, "The Fox (What Does The Fox Say?)" by Ylvis, would have been included but it is not old enough.
