My Top 10 Favorite Japanese Commercials
If you have been following my funny blog posts then you might be familiar about the weird and funny Japanese commercials I blogged about. I think I will compile my top ten favorite weird and funny Japanese commercials this time just for fun.
The Japanese people lead hectic and stressful lives so that is maybe why their products' video advertisements are kind of somehow strange, senseless and wacky. Watching them is a good way to relieve your daily stress!
Making this list is kind of difficult as there are plenty of great ones out there and others still that are yet to be discovered.

10. Hearthstone video game on mobile devices
This one implies that to be good at that advertised video game is so damn cool. Even the higher-ups will try to respect you.
9. Yamaguchi Chiropractic Clinic
Oh, This is the best ad about Chiropractors ever!
8. Drink milk campaign ad
I thought Gyuunyuu was a milk brand. It really means "milk" in Japanese. In this amusing ad, Japanese teenagers imagine what they can physically achieve just by drinking milk.
7. WAM Beauty Spa
Would you really wish for something selfishly vain in a critical life and death situation like this? A really absurd and funny ad that is surprising.
6. Tsuruya Roof Tiles
Portraying roof tiles as humans with feelings connected together? Why, that is ingenious and crazy as it sounds. Hats off to the advertising agency who thought of this concept.
5. Ad for Gin no Sara Sushi Delivery
When your body craves for some sushi, it is best not to ignore it. Or strange, hilarious consequences might happen that will put you in trouble.
4. Ajinomoto Stadium
The stadium is so famous and always jam-packed with cheering audiences as this ad claims. So much that its giving an unhealthy side effect to the inhabitants of the city.
3. Another great ad for Gin no Sara Sushi Delivery
A late night flirt with a date turns sour. What is this got to do with sushi? If you can identify good ingredients in sushi then you can identify if a girl's real or not. One of the best ads ever.
2. Sakeru Gummy gum candy
This wonderful ad series feature a love triangle about a woman torn between Sakeru Gummy and Long Sakeru Gummy. There’s more drama, romance and comedy going on in this commercial series than there are in some movies. The sexual innuendos here are quite funny.
1. DaiHatsu Wake commercial series
Anchan (big brother) can't get over the fact that his creative transport ideas are already resolved by the DaiHatsu Wake microvan. This commercial series is a gem. If you haven't yet watched it, then you are missing a big piece of commercial entertainment in your life. This one's so highly recommended to watch.
