Weird kangaroo

I was out at my sister's place today for a swim and a bbq, and also to take the postie bike back to the farm after its recent shenanigans. They live out off Bungendore Rd, near Bywong.

She had gone into the Bung earlier in the morning, maybe a bit after 9, to pick up some stuff......

Coming down Smith's Gap, she noticed a few cars in front of her had slowed down for something.....this was at the bottom of the hill, at the start of that long straight.....

Anyway, the cars coming the other way had also slowed to a crawl......and then she saw why.....a 4' grey roo was belting across the road from side to side - both sides blocked with fences, no roads to escape up, and the roo was just a bit too small to clear either fence and make it's escape.....so it was basically 'pinballing' down the road, between the fences.....

Behind my sister.....a couple of sports-bike rides approached, and also slowed to stop behind her.......the roo was on the other side of the road, so she moved forward at a crawl, to continue on........

In her rear-view mirror, she saw the roo bounce across the road.......and jump straight over the front wheel of the first bike, and into the upper-body/helmet of the 2nd rider !!!  My sister couldn't believe it - she stopped and was going to go back and see if the bloke was OK - he had not been knocked off his bike, and the roo had basically just hit him and bounced off..... both of the riders were looking at the roo, which by this time was jerking around on the ground.........only to jump up and take off again, up the Gap !!!

Old mate on the bike was OK to ride off, but I bet that is the first time he has ever been hit by a roo while on his bike, and not been moving at the time !!!! :lol

Whoever said roo's were stupid, was dead right. A shu-roo would not have helped in this situation ..... :lol
