Spring Cleaning And the Dust Bunnies Attack!🐰

I'm on vacation this week so I've been spring cleaning around the house since the weather where I live is more like late November rather than mid-April.
As part of the clean-up, I've run into my nemesis- the most evil and vile part of making any home spic and span.
What is it you ask? WELL...
You've probably seen them hiding under beds or lurking around floorboards. They're furry and quiet, but they don't eat carrots. What are they? Dust bunnies!
Why are they called "dust bunnies"? Maybe because they're fluffy, quiet and tend to multiply rapidly? 🤔
They usually hang out under furniture, unattended corners or other areas that are hard to reach with a vacuum, broom or duster.
Dust bunnies are balls of dust and other materials that tend to be held together with static electricity. It also consists of tiny particles of soil and pollution along with microscopic debris from volcanic eruptions. It then combines with other items found inside your home like plant pollen, animal hair, human hair and dead skin cells.
With four cats and a dog, animal hair is a BIG one for me.
So I'm moving around my furniture to get at some of these critters and have found that they have grown HUGE during the winter months.
They are officially tumbleweed size!

So I'm sweeping and vacuuming and dumping everything that I can access into the garbage. I have cleaned up an entire trash bag so far and am still going.
I'll post this now as I need to go again to "fight the good fight" against the winter invasion of this vermin.
