Phone call the worse?

They say that answering even a 10 second phone call can lead to about 10 minutes of lost time. Mostly distracting you from the task, and then you having to focus on where you are at, and get back in the grove of what you are doing. Well I find that true, but what about working at home with a small child? It can turn a 10 minute task into hours... I am doing some remodeling around the house, and it is a nightmare. She is always there wanting to play, so I do, and nothing gets done.
