I've Been 'RESTING'...and 'UNWINDING' from This Place Called Steemit
There are times when even something we seem to enjoy doing, becomes tiring and not fulfilling enough to continue with. Posting on Steemit can be one of those things and 'IS' from what I gather according to my nearing year and a half here.
I've been there before, and have known/know others who bowed out of participating here for various reasons. Some have 'stayed gone'... others seem to come and go...having just 'rested' like me.
Me? I've been a comer and goer of sorts.
At times, people disappear from Steemlandia simply because of life changes and necessity to focus upon other things, which require more time elsewhere, and less time to spare here.
Yet...there are many who take leave of Steemit due to feeling it's a waste of time and energy. Some feel discouraged by the platform 'not' progressing into a more user friendly, equally rewarding environment. Of course there are 'many' reasons some people eventually become actually 'hateful' of this site...
I won't go into that 'ranting' mode in this post, because it's all been said before, many times by many authors (including my humble self) and the response from those in control of this platform continue to respond poorly, or not at all, most of the time.
Anyway...
My seven day or so break from this place, helped me from going completely insane. The little time off didn't reverse any of my mental dysfunction unfortunately...but, I 'do' feel sort of refreshed in a way...
Maybe I was just 'burned out' from having posted to much lately...??? I don't know...I 'did' change my 'style' so to speak with most of my posting here going back awhile. I became a mere 'daily blogger' for the most part who wrote primarily about my boring ass life and boring ass opinions.
At least I 'spared' you guys the suffering of having to view multiple 'selfies' of my fine, beautiful and captivating mug...with every post...Sarcasm became the main ingredient for producing a delectable treat for the masses here...I tuned towards 'humor' or at least an attempt at it, for entertainment value.
A lot of good 'that' did me in the 'rewards' department...If I wasn't using @OCDB to up my tally, I'd be further along the path of the downtrodden...awash in a sea of despair and degradation...
Well...since I've lost my train of thought, I'll spare you any additional grief my friends...
I'm outta here for now; see ya soon.

Well, I'm quite new to this platform, so that sounds a little... I don't know. I hope I can reach a year and a half here and have a good experience.
