Fun Facts in History for the 7th July!!!

Thought i would start a little funny facts from history , they are sourced from many sources History Book's,Wiki's, TV show's and General Knowledge..

On the 7th of July 1456 Joan of Ark was retried for herecsy , She was acquitted of the charge !! 1 up for good old Joan , pity it wasn't 25 yrs earlier before they burnt her at the Stake!!

The Last Major battle between England and Scotland was on this day the 7th of July 1575, I was called the Raid of the  Redeswire  , The Scot's were victorious , but the English invented football so that they can get there own back at the Scot's at every chance .

7th July 1928 Well for the first time sliced bread was solded , yep someone actually invented sliced bread!! Before then we were all barbarians , ripping it up!!

And Probly the most famous and well know funny fact on the 7th of July 1947 those crazy alien's crashed there little spaceship in Roswell.. I wonder what was going thru there minds , " dang who put that there ?" LOL
