Never done a #FungiFriday post, but there's a first time for everything!
It's #FungiFriday!
I've seen quite a few #FungiFriday posts before, but I've not contributed to this tag yet. I went out after the rain to pick usnea and had to get some fun fungi shots as well!
An old puffball that never got picked...
I don't know what these red mushrooms are. The squirrels seem to like them though, as do the chickens, so they never last long...
Another interesting, but unidentified shroom.
Well, here you go, my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw!
I hope many of you will join as there are only 2 simple rules:

These are beautiful! We have found so many beautiful fungi where we live right night. Many of them only last a few hours after the rain. So complex, truly facinating, always a fun surprise when you find them :)

Fungi are so interesting! And you are right, they dont hang around for long so you have to go out and capture them before they shrivel up or get eaten by squirrels, haha!

Fungi make a good subject to photograph. They dont run around when you are trying to get a picture!
Hahaha exactly!! You should also try with snails :D Great models too :))
I would LOVE to do snails! Problem is, apparently chickens enjoy snacking on them. I havent seen a snail in a long time... :/
