Depiction: Cecropia moths are wonderful silk moths with ruddy bodies and dark to darker wings encompassed by groups of white, red, and tan.

Measure: With a wingspan of 5 to 7 inches, the cecropia moth is the biggest moth found in North America.

Eating routine: Caterpillars eat leaves all through the late spring. The grown-up moths don't eat by any means.

Living space and Range: These nighttime moths are found in hardwood timberlands east of the Rocky Mountains in the U.S. also, Canada. They are pulled in to road and yard lights, which is the place most fortunate watchers experience them.

Fun Fact: Bolas bugs can imitate the pheromones delivered by creepy crawlies like the cecropia moth. Male moths at that point take after the aroma of the pheromones and wind up turning into the creepy crawly's next feast!
