Sentiment
It’s funeral planning season around here. Many people allow their sentiment to show. Their strong feelings cross over personal boundaries. In short, a funeral is prime time to offend others or be offended. Frankly Scarlet... I don’t give a damn. 
Our timeline for my mother’s funeral is going to be slow. I’m guessing we will be forced to delay until next week. My preferred pace would be much faster.
Fortunately, others are more considerate than I. We will allow for travel time.
For me, the need for respect ends at death. Dead bodies have no feelings. I do not have any desires for my funeral.
Until the funeral is over time will crawl along.
I understand what you are saying regarding funerals. It just so happens that my sisters husband died just two days ago. He was is his 80's and my wife and I will not be going to the funeral. I do not know what will be said but I think we are far enough away that we should not be expected. (upstate New York to south Texas. We sent a card and talked to my sister over the phone. I think it has been about 20 years since we last visited one another. I hope all goes well with your funeral.
One other thing now that time is going so slow take a look at a new site called weku it is like steemit but I think it could be better in the long run.
