Flood Relief in South Indian state of Kerala - Update 56 - 12/Nov/2018
Dear Steemians,
This is the 56th update post for the Fundition.io project I have created with regards to the fundraising for flood relief activities in the form of the donations to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund in the South Indian State of Kerala.

Updates for last week:
Discovery channel today aired an episode Kerala Floods - The Human Story which is a documentary about the celebration of spirit of people who survived and also about the stories of people coming together to help those who were in need of help.
Federation of Kerala Associations in North America(FOKANA) will be partnering with Kerala state government in re-construction of flood affected houses in the state.
Kerala government has released a statement telling that it has fastened the relief with re-construction of flood affected houses and has released a fund of INR 16 Crore Rupees as first installment.
Kerala has re-built the flood affected libraries with the help of crowd funds and donations in the form of books from people around the world. It is said that approximately 25 Lakh books got damaged during the flood from 228 libraries in the state.
Updates on Donations and Support:
I would always appreciate the support from Steemians, @fundition, @fulltimegeek, @fulltimeangel and the fulltimebots. Here and there, we are even getting donations from kind heart Steemians.
The total amount including all donations and upvote supports stands at 1233$ 1159$ out of the designated goal of 1500$ thanks to the always declining Steem price and the details are available in below screenshot.
