DCOMIX.com Coder Contest

DCOMIX.com Coder Contest is giving new developers/coders an opportunity to build a Dcomix platform with Steem blockchain. We know that you can be paid per hour for fulltime web development job, so we invite you to code with us for Dcomix's front end and back end but the challenge is you should be a volunteer first and show us that you can build a fully-functional Dcomix.com Prototype.

MAIN REQUIREMENT

Build a Dcomix.com Prototype using the power of the Steem blockchain that will bring people together and use it for monetizing users (webcomics creators).

Contest is open to all coders who have no prior commitment. Participants will build a website prototype for DCOMIX.com. The prototype you develop will be judged by the investors and/or sponsors in accordance to the official rules. Rewards will be given to participant(s) with the most functional prototype (demo site).

HOW TO ENTER

1. Participant(s) in DCOMIX.com Coder Contest should submit his/her real name, address, email, and contact number(s) before joining. Register for the contest (Entrance fee: 7+ Steem Dollar [SBD] or its latest equivalent in US $ for non-Steemit users).
2. Participants should agree to the Rules here, as this serve as a binding agreement between you and Dcomix.
3. Participants can enter as individual or team (3 members). Each team member should register [pay for] themselves individually. However, members of a team cannot submit individual entries. One team is one entry (a demo site or website prototype).
4. Participants are required to join as Backers of Dcomix Project in Fundition, participate in Dcomix Discord server #coder-contest channel, follow Dcomix in Steemit, upvote and resteem this post, follow and like Dcomix Domain Facebook Page and Dcomix Domain Twitter accounts.
5. Your demo site or website prototype must comply with the policies of Steemit and open source for creating a standalone product or sustainable project.
6. You can submit your website prototype for acceptance before or by 11:59:59 PM, July 31, 2018. Dcomix prototypes submitted after that time will not be considered. Modifications are allowed during the contest date and before the deadline 11:59:59 PM, July 31, 2018. A copy of your final source code must be submitted to Dcomix.
7. Your website prototype must use/support the English language.
8. Potential winner(s) must submit proof of identity to ensure your right as coder/builder/developer of Dcomix.com prototype or demo site.

JUDGING

Each entry will be judged by professional developers who are not employees of Dcomix.com. On or by August 17, 2018, each prototype will be tested and evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Practicality: How many users can your prototype accommodate?
• Quality: How well does your prototype perform?
• Utility: How valuable your prototype in Steem blockchain and social media

Potential winners can be rewarded for being a crowd favorite and the overall winning prize guarantees you an associate position in Dcomix.com.

Potential winners can be selected during the test/evaluation period. Once notified via email, a potential winner must submit confirmation of identity so that s/he will not be disqualified. If required, potential winners must submit valid documents within fifteen (15) days upon receiving the notice from Dcomix.

Participants and/or potential winners using false information (identity, address, email, and contact number) will result in automatic elimination from the contest. Any attempt to purposely damage another contestant's demo site will lead to disqualification. Remember: DCOMIX is driven by community initiative and joint effort is encouraged.

The total winning prize will not be announced or posted but Fundition, as one of our official investors, assures us that they offer €335370.77 per year for meaningful projects.

So judges are selected by Sponsors, Backers, and Investors funding Dcomix.
