Anime(Japanese animation) "Onepiece"

Onepiece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since July 22, 1997, and has been published in 88 volumes running for 20 straight years so far. It is still growing strong and it is one of the most read and watched anime of all time.

One Piece follows the adventure of a young man named Monkey D Luffy, and his small jolly pirate crew of ten members. Luffy's dream is to obtain the treasure called the Onepiece and become the next Pirate King. Onepiece is the most revered treasure in the Onepiece world and the late pirate king was the only person who's made to the mystical island of Raftal and discovered enormous amount of treasure in that island which could shake the whole world. However the late pirate king didn't have his eyes on the treasure but rather he considered his comrades and the journey with them his treasure. So he left the treasure Onepiece in the mysterious island Raftal and started the new era of piracy in the onepiece world.

Monkey D Luffy is one of the dreamer who was inspired by the tales of late pirate king to find the greatest treasure onepiece and behold the title of Pirate king. He gathers around 10 crew mates and form a very deep, profound and strong sense of comradery . His crewmates respects their captain greatly despite his extreme carefree attitude and a complete lack of captainship. Likewise Luffy has great respect and believes in his comrades ability and deeply cherish their friendship. His pirate crew is called as Straw Hat pirates because of his trademark Straw Hat which he always wears it all the time, there is not a single episode where is does not wear his straw hat, he always keeps his hat close to him and deeply cherishes it and always feel remorse when he loses sight of his hat.

Luffy is a very carefree and adventure loving person, most of the time he is funny and totally an idiot but when the situation deems he is a very capable and dependable captain. He has very sharp instincts and he used to rely mostly on his instinct when the series started however he has learnt new abilities to see and feel beyond his normal senses and uses it in his battles. His pirate crew is unique and unconventional from the pirates we know from our history. They save the innocent and protects peoples dreams and follows righteous path by not hurting people without reasons. However the navy sees them as a potential threat and tries to capture them during their journey but they come triumphant and they are still continuing their adventure though the seas of onepiece world.
