One hell of a leak to make such a mess. :-)

Do you have a leaking radiator?

Radiator repair was once a big thing. They were also made of copper and it had value in just the metal. People would take their radiator into a shop and have it rodded out. The end cap tanks would be de-soldered and a rod would get pushed through each of the cores (tubes) to unblock it. The end caps would get soldered back on and any leaks fixed with solder.

Now radiators are made from aluminum. That material is more durable which allows for wider cores all the seams and find are soldered with a special aluminum paste in an oven. It essentially creates an aluminum weld so the entire radiator is essentially all aluminum with exception of the end caps which are typically plastic that is crimped into place.

Because of the difficulty of repairing aluminum, it is really better just to replace the entire radiator instead of attempting to welding it. With the old copper radiators, it was easy to solder any joints or fill a hole because solder melts well below the melting point of copper and it bonds extremely easy to copper. Aluminum is more durable in a radiator because the material strength of aluminum is much stronger than copper. The other advantage of aluminum is that it is much cheaper to manufacture which has drove the price of radiators way down.

Long story short is to just get a new radiator. They are way less expensive than they were long ago.

The guy in the picture needs one in a bad way. :-)
