Playa Grande

Es la playa más grande y más cercana al pueblo de Puerto Colombia , Choroní al centro norte de Venezuela en el Estado Aragua. Está aproximadamente a 10 minutos caminando desde el pueblo. Es una playa con los cocoteros y las montañas del Parque Nacional Henri Pittier de fondo. Siempre hace mucho viento, así que se crean grandes olas.

Playa Grande es la más popular de la zona, por lo tanto es muy concurrida en temporadas como Carnaval, Semana Santa y el primero de Enero de cada año. Playa Grande y Choroni en general es un lugar muy frecuentado por la comunidad LGBT de Venezuela.

Cuenta con una buena infraestructura incluyendo varios restaurantes y kioskos, servicios de salvavidas y primeros auxilios, un centro de información turística y vigilancia de la Policía Municipal. Además, cuenta con vendedores de todo tipo que pasan frente a usted para prestarle sus servicios, desde venta de bebidas, snacks, comida, servicio de toldos, sillas y mesas playeras

Big beach

Playa Grande is the largest and closest beach to the town of Puerto Colombia, Choroní to the northern center of Venezuela in the Aragua State. It is approximately 10 minutes walk from the village. It is a beach with coconut trees and the mountains of Henri Pittier National Park in the background. It's always windy, so big waves are created.

Playa Grande is the most popular in the area, therefore it is very popular in seasons such as Carnival, Easter and the first of January of each year. Playa Grande and Choroni in general is a place frequented by the LGBT community in Venezuela.

It has a good infrastructure including several restaurants and kiosks, lifeguard and first aid services, a tourist information and surveillance center of the Municipal Police. In addition, it has vendors of all kinds who pass in front of you to provide their services, from selling drinks, snacks, food, awning service, chairs and beach tables.
