@polebird: ❤️My adventure pups - Part 1 Introducing my Watson! ❤️

Dogs are known as men's (and women's) best friend. I realized that although I had introduced my bird family to Steemit previously here , that I had not properly introduced my two dogs who are a big part of my life! I'm so glad to be able to share adventures with them Kylie and Watson sure bring me a lot of happiness! This is part 1 about my sweet dog Watson!

This is Watson my shih-tzu maltese mix aka Watty or the "W". I refer to him fondly as my little adventure pup! He is the chillest dog I ever met, but pretty tough for his size as well! Watson is usually just bumming around the house, almost never barks, and very good natured. He is pretty used to being on the road, and is always excited to go out on an adventure.

He loves to hang out and relax. At home he spends a lot of day finding a spot of sun to warm up. I set him up in the hammock in the photo below to chill on his own while we were having lunch.

I've taken him on a lot of hikes and people are always surprised to see him! He even seems to enjoy bouldering and jumping around on rocks

Here I believe he was refusing to come down this route :P so I had to carry him down lol.

Also, he really does not share my love of water, but he is a good sport about all the water activities that I have forced him to participate in. After so many encounters with water, I think he is starting not to mind the water so much - he is even jumped in and swam towards me a couple times now!

Here we are floating in Destin, Florida. He is a decent swimmer, but I always feel less paranoid if he wears his lifejacket.

Spending the day on a boat and relaxing!

He truly melts my heart everyday. ❤️
