The Smallest Lego Set Ever! 🐤
I'm back with the boys this weekend for some quality time and there favourite thing in the world is Lego. There absolute mad about it! I happened to find this miniature set in a charity shop last week, it's not real Lego obviously it's fake Chinese rubbish but for 50p I thought it was a bargain if it kept them busy for 5 minutes :-)
I was thinking it was going to be a quick job until I looked at the leadlet and got confused really fast. The Chinese instructions are all backwards and don't have the simple flow were used to! So I made a cup of tea and a sandwich, then sat down on a cushion for the long haul.
The set consists of 120+ pieces, but they are absolutely tiny. The smallest ones I can barely handle at all are about the size of a pinhead! That's where the 3 year olds dextrous little digits work best. So I gave directions and he started building. (the blue brick below is the smallest real 'Lego©' brick to show the size difference)
It was slow progress but he did a great job. He built the little chick first and then the mother ducks head but then it got a bit difficult as the loosely connecting bricks began falling apart. So I took over at the end and finished the body which took longer than I hoped I nearly got the superglue out!
Ahhh good times!

Yes, my friend, one day you will wake up and see this young boy as a grown up facing the world. You will understand then how fast time passes.
Beautiful knock off legos! It looks like they had fun. I blew the dust off my Lego collection for my girls, but I think they're still a little young for them. They don't build, they just play with the figurines and horses. @ironshield
Ahh the dreaded nanoblocks. I recall getting a space shuttle set or something like it out of a bulk lot of used Lego I purchased. Very frustrating to try to assemble.
