Yes, getting the attention first is definitely important. I would like to summarize this in "conviction". People are actually scared to get attention because they think that whatever they have to say is not worth it. You need to actually believe in yourself and in your story as well.

Kevin hart is truly an amazing and hilarious guy. I love his shows! To be good at anything, you need to practice and rehearse and see what works and what doesn't.
