5 Hidden Symbols In Popular Logos
For my last post, I wrote about the 10 most memorable brands, and noted one of the logos had a hidden meaning to it. That post gave me the idea to post this article, so here are 5 logos with hidden symbols in them.
Amazon
Amazon's logo is one of the most memorable in the world, and the arrow pointing from the letter "a" to the letter "z" signifies you can buy anything from a to z. It also represent the smile customers make when they shop there.
Fedex
In the white space between the letter "E" and "x," there is a white arrow. Supposedly, it represents FedEx's speed and accuracy in their deliveries.
Baskin Robbins
The pink in the letters "B" and "R" represent the number 31, which is how many flavors offered at Baskin Robbins.
NBC
The silhouette in the white space of the logo is a peacock, which is facing the right to symbolize that they are looking forward. The six feathers represent the six divisions of NBC at the time: News in yellow, Sports in orange, Entertainment in red, Stations in purple, Network in blue, and Productions in green.
Tostitos
The logo shows two people sharing chips in salsa, representing people coming together to share their products.

Interesting. Never saw that until now ;)
Dude, that is awesome. I'm kind of a nerd for branding and how people identify with them. I found myself trying to anticipate what the hidden message or trick was as I went along.
