'L' the Fairy Martin.... Part 2

We were on our way out and saw L on the ground. Picked L up and found a box for her. We crossed our fingers L survives the fall.
Few years back we rescued a Kingfisher so we knew what to do.
Fairy Martins are clever, resourceful and huge families. It's a great experience rescuing an animal.
Instantly we started the search for everything we needed to make L comfortable. So tiny, so frail, so vunrable. L took to us straight away. Maybe saying hi to the nests everyday, we are a familiar sound. L was so hungry. It was cute and fun to watch. L's wings would flap so hard that her foot would lift off the box like L was going to take off. Then the eyes would start to close ready to sleep until the next feed.
