I want to buy a led lights for my 2007 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer, I have been told that for the headlights should be H13, what will be for the fog lights? what will be the best brand?

That is a qualitative question. I imagine that different people will have different opinions about what is best. Not a question about fixing something that is broken.

I can give you my experience with lights at the sand dunes. Out there, we have dust in the air all the time from vehicles stirring up sand and dust. Everyone wants to put the brightest lights on their rides. The location of those lights makes a big difference. The closer the lights are to one's eye level, the more reflection there is from the dust. It can be really distracting. Driving lights can have that same effect. light can reflect off snow, rain, and fog which will degrade long distance visibility. That is why fog lights exist. They are placed as far away from the drivers eye level as possible to minimize that reflection. If you are in a desert like I am, the fog lights really don't help much since fog, snow, and rain are rare events. Only in off road conditions does it play a factor.

Most auto parts shops can tell you what type of light you need for your truck. Again, as far as quality and reliability, I don't have statistics on that and is highly qualitative.
