Our Installed Basketball Hoop And Backboard

So yesterday I was able to show you our first part of installing the basketball hoop and backboard and now I can show you the finished installation. We were able to mount it to the tree and it came out pretty good. I don't know how we did it, but it came out very straight.

I was able to test it and shoot some hoops and I love it! The only thing is that it's short compared to a normal basketball hoop. The top of the rim is about 5 feet and 5 inches so it's a little short. It's actually a good thing because my oldest son is 2 so when he gets a little older he will be able to play without it being too high.

It is pretty sturdy, but I made sure to tell everyone to not do any slam dunks on it because it doesn't need that amount of weight on it. It handles very well when you're just shooting hoops so I'm proud that it worked out so well. I'm not a huge fan of playing sports, but I do enjoy basketball. I will be using this a lot and hopefully it will help me to get more exercise throughout each day.
