Welcome to the Wonderfull World of Steemit.

Over the last couple of weeks there has been a giant influx of new users into steemit and a fair few are probably a little confused at how to kick off and make the most of this great new playground they have found.
Well I'd suggest finding a proper post to help you get started, this is more a ramble around with some cool pictures if I can find any on my PC.

Now I understand that many of our new users come from Asia, luckily for those people from that part of the world you won't have to draw a map for our American users, we seem to have managed to get the cream of the US population who have seen a world map that shows more than just North America. That said I'm looking forward to discovering about the lives of people of Asia and also the rest of the world...
Well apart from people from Doncaster, a bit of a dull place, trust me I've been out drinking there. (Sorry Donni, but I'm a Tarn lad.)

So insults aside what do you need to do?

Well first off, our aim here is to take over the world. We want to turn the entire planet into one giant steem room so you will need to get lots of followers, the more the better. You can't take over the world without followers and here on steemit it's your followers who are most likely to see and upvote your post. Find those who share your love on what you will post about and follow them, comment on their posts about how you liked it. Also if the post is getting good rewards make a note of the tags they used and the time of posting, tags and timing your post can make a difference to the number of upvotes you get.
OK so that's the first job, get follower and get noticed (But noticed in a good way, some people don't like spam posting. personally I don't like any tinned meat products.)

Second job is posting your blog, I find keeping them short, sweet and frequent works well. Post a photograph but give it a little story, it only has to be a few lines or so but it makes for a better post. Don't chase trends but post your passions, people are nosey so tell them about your life.
One of the big no no's on steemit is posting someone elses work as your own, make sure you give a photograph credit if it isn't yours.
So we've covered work on getting followers, posting your blogs and the next one is upvoting other peoples votes. Here on steemit we have curation rewards so if a post you vote for gets a reward you get a % of that reward. You get paid for upvoting and while the amount isn't large it will increase as you build up your steem power.

Lastly don't go off on rants and personal attacks of other users, it drives people away from your account and voting for you. Ask questions if you want to understand things as there is normally someone who can answer them for you...

other advice.... brush your teeth and wash behind your ears. If you don't understand many of the strange things I've dropped into this post don't worry, it's a mad English thing.
