The Fuji Fuki Corporation - The Great Desolation

 Oh! the avarice of man to think that he and she and her and them and they and you yes you would think that you and yours could have the strength to change the his-and-her-story of life on earth!

The Great Desolation was not a singular event which was caused by waste or gas or whatnotifnotwasnotwhichnot or whatever scientific minds of the 20th and 21st century struggled to come to terms with and label with a name and blame on overpopulation which caused pollution which would be the downfall of humanity; perhaps if the planet was not prone to cataclysmic events which occurred throughout the life-cycle of all celestial bodies - events which at once would wipe out 99% of whatever lived on that celestial planet - perhaps if Earth were never to be touched by such events then eventually overpopulation causing pollution would have been humanity’s downfall. 

But planet earth is not a celestial body onto itself, removed from all other such bodies and therefore immune to cataclysmic events. Planet earth like all other planets and stars and celestial bodies as yet to be discovered or named is struck by forces of nature of such overwhelming proportions that the slate is wiped clean and the cycle begins once again.
Because too much or too little of carbon-dioxide monoxide or Co and 2 or extra of this or too little of that... none of this was round when large lizards ruled the land and a meteor from the Heavens wiped them off the solid ground; nor was there man around when the waters froze and the sky closed about and the ice wiped the slate clean and did so several times. The destruction of life - 99% of it - is how life always lived before it died and enabled the 1% which survived to thrive and grow and conquer the land until it too would be wiped away and replaced anew by the strongest 1% - life is cyclical on earth as it is on other planets.

And so The Great Desolation was not a singular event but just another event which wiped the slate clean and left but a few hundred thousand humans around from the 9 billion which had lived in the year 2087 when this not so singular event began…

...and it began with a solar eruption so strong it blew clear across the planets and was too powerful a force for Earth’s magnetic force fields to contend with. 

What had been the tightest of grips - two hands extending from each polar tip - holding with the invisible force of magnetism onto our invisible atmosphere - was no match for the solar winds which shred the grip and ripped the skies which glowed for days upon weeks upon 3 full months - the skies glowed first all hues of blue then green then red, bright red then orange then green once more… and then it was done… the skies were black… the days were dark… and then there was light! and then it began, The Great Desolation, a decade of death, our Oceans were toxic, the sun was our enemy, radiation killed millions and famine killed billions and when it was all said and done only the fittest survived and the fittest were cunning and the fittest had knowledge and the fittest re-wrote his-and-her-and-your-story so that it fit the narrative that they wanted.

In 2097 - a decade after it all began - the 1% which survived were able to reclaim and resettle the land.

In the following years The Bible became accepted and acknowledged as a great work of fiction but only fiction and not religion because a new religion came to be acknowledged and accepted… and was based on another piece of fiction - Orwell's 1984 - which was elevated to that of Biblical proportions and it’s lessons taken by the 1% of the 1% and revised so it suited their goals and once revised was then taught to all - that 1% of the 1% knew that everlasting war pointless when everlasting globalization and business could achieve the same results…  a grip on power through everlasting peace through the strength of business which became the new ethos which mankind lived by; everlasting business was the way to salvation.

And from this new renaissance of thought which came after the 2nd Dark Ages -  which no man nor woman could have ever foreseen or created - from the ashes of The Great Desolation came the birth of The Corporation and as all births it was harmless and was seen not as salvation because it wasn't even noticed, just another family organization - a small business at a time when the great thinkers thought that businesses were right and right was what they said was right which was that the right way forward was to focus what little of the energy left to those on earth was to help small business survive and thrive and so the strongest will survive and the strongest came from the East, from a little family with a funny name to those in the West - a family named Fuji Fuki which had a monopoly on a parcel of land and for the grace of some-maybe-none-or-maybe-one power that little parcel of land was fertile and from it grew these massive trees and from these trees the family made business and from the power of business had power over its employees and made order for these employees by deciding the law of their; and if the law was order and order was law then it was made one so that none could question the law of order or the order of law which was one and the same and became the law of land.
After 17 generations the little business thrived and became The Corporation... and the business was founded on one single product made of wood: chopsticks.

By the production of chopsticks, The Fuji Fuki Corporation came to rule the world.

How is that even possible? Just ask yourself… how?
