Dragonfruit aka Pitaya.

Exotic dragon fruit aka pitaya is well known in Central and South America now spreading across a globe. It's very attractive and unusual fruit now growing in my garden. Huge beatiful flowers are opening in the middle of the night and will die before sunrise. If not pollinated during those few hours, no fruits will be set. As one can see on the following picture same plant can care ripe fruits and bloom at the same time. Fruits remind me kiwi. Similar texture, but milder taste.
