Sweet Santol

We got another harvest from the back yard. This time from a santol tree. Here I'm going to show you the santol or the cotton fruits that we have. Here in the Philippines, we call this fruit santol, in English it is known as cotton fruit or wild mangosteen.

Hello @zye. Nice to meet ya. I am from the Philippines. I got intrigued with that pickle you made, I haven't tried making a pickle out of cotton fruit, with cayenne pepper. That's not a bad idea. I will try it in the future. :D

Seeing this makes me smile for some reason. Yay! I miss santol. 😄 Haven't eaten this fruit for over 11 years na. Lol. 😁 I like it with asin too.
Why? Where are you located now @happyfree. There are plenty in the market if you want to buy. :D
I've never heard of this fruit, not sure its grown in the US. Thanks @junvebbei for sharing with us.
I am not real sure as well. These mostly grow in Southeast Asia. :D @lrich
