Heyyy Steemianos, in this opportunity I bring the presentation of one of my favorite fruits EL CAMBUR, in my country it is very well known and practically it is obtained everywhere ... It is very used in the kitchen for recipes both main dishes and desserts (Banana Split ), it is used as a complement in breakfast, also milkshake with milk and even with chocolate (meringue).

I did a brief investigation of its nutritional properties and contributions to health, I also want to share a couple of very common recipes in my country and especially in my family because we love it (so we do it very often) are very simple.

They say it comes from Southeast Asia, it has many nutritional qualities, as well as incredible properties and an exquisite flavor. It is considered one of the most complete foods.

You need:

2 mature Cambures
1 Cup of Granulated Sugar (it does not matter if Blanca or brunette)
Cinnamon to taste)
2 tablespoons of Butter

Preparation:

Start by placing a nonstick skillet to heat (medium heat), then add the butter so that it melts and so you can place the peeled cambers (they can be whole or if you prefer cut in half crosswise), until they brown in the butter, if you need to add a little more butter it is no problem with this. Then add the cinnamon and sugar spreading on the cambures (without beating at any time) and let caramelize. To finish let them cook on low heat while reducing the caramel.



And smart ... TARANNNN, delicious caramel changes.

N ° 2: Cambur cake
You need:
5-6 mature changes
1 Cup of Wheat Flour
2 Eggs (complete)
6 Tablespoons of Granulated Sugar
Cinnamon to taste)
Sandwich (to taste)
1 Cup of Milk (cold)
½ Kg of semi-hard cheese sliced ​​or scratched
¼ Kg of striped Mozarella cheese (to gratinate)
Vanilla essence (to taste)

To begin, peel the slices, cut into slices and fry until golden brown. When the slices are ready, they are placed on a napkin or absorbent paper to release a little oil (if desired).

On the other hand I mix milk, eggs, cinnamon, flour, sugar and vanilla essence in the blender until the mixture is homogeneous. Besides, the sandwich is chopped into strips.
Now assemble the cake placing in a container smeared with butter and a breeze of sugar and flour (so that it does not stick and a rich edge is left) a bottom (or bed) of the mixture, then a layer of slices is placed and over they put the semi-hard cheese and the sandwich. Then it is covered with another layer of the mixture and so on until it completes ... always leaving a layer of mixture between the slices of cambur with cheese and sandwich. To finish, add a layer of mozzarella cheese on top so that the top layer is gratin when cooking.
