I've moved to Hive, along with most other people, following Justin Sun's takeover of Steem in the Spring of 2020. I believe hive is a lot more decentralised than Steem!

Sort:

Funny enough I think steemit can be a life log for many of it works out. What we do here now is largely similar in a way.

The sheer amount of aspects of his life that he’s tracking/ material he’s creating reminds us just how rich daily life is if you just pay attention to it

Exactly my thoughts. It is difficult to pay attention to as it is largely pointless as you say, but those who do cannot but appreciate

Steemit might be a lifelog: with the exception of @dtube and unless the value declines to the point where it doesn't pay enough for witnesses to maintain their servers. Then the whole site goes offline.

Unless you back up yer posts?

I have to admire the sheer effort the guy puts in!
