ii. He consulted astrologers
iii. He had two wives
iv. He was a chain smoker
v. He took alcohol 8-10 times a day
Mr. B
i. He was kicked out of office twice
ii. He would sleep from morning till noon
iii. He used opium in college
iv. He drunk whiskey every evening
Mr. C
i. He was a decorated war hero
i. He was a vegetarian
iii. He never took alcohol
iv. He never smoked
v. He never cheated on his wife
vi. He was a dedicated painter
Naturally, you would choose Mr. C, right?
However, here is the sad revelation:
Mr. A was Franklyn Roosevelt! (32nd President of the USA)
Mr. B was Wilson Churchill! (Former British Prime Minister)
Mr. C was Adolf Hitler! (Former German Chancellor)
Strange but very true! Moral: It is very risky to judge anyone by their habits!
Character is a complex phenomenon.
So, every person in your life is important; very important!
Don't judge them, ACCEPT them for WHO they ARE.
The same boiling water that hardens the egg, softens the potato! It merely depends upon the individual's reaction to stressful circumstances!
