Digging for Quartz at the Diamond Hill Mine in South Carolina
@activate.alpha and I travel to Abbeville SC to search for crystal clusters, plates or other cool rocks. We explore a hot spot that Ive had really good luck with. And since its in the shade that was nice too, it was a hot October day so we were thankful for the tree cover.
Me and her spent half the day digging and came across some really nice rocks. We just finished cleaning them so we will show off soon. Many druzy crystals, and many different sizes.
We packed our food to eat while there as there was only a gas station near by. Lots of water was brought as well as digging can be quite taxing on the body.

That sounds like lots of fun! When we go on our all day adventures, we also take our lunch with us. We wouldn't want grumbling stomachs to be a reason to stop hunting. :)

It sure was alot of fun, thats good. Being far out in the country when digging for rocks makes for limited choices if you dont bring anything. We try to pack calorie dense snacks, and fruits with alots of water in it. And jugs of drinking water.
Hah yeah I hate hitting a wall from hunger when theres more crystals to dig up :-P
