in #fridaychallenge4 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone. I Hope everyone is good here. So I'm here with my another steemit post about the new challenge called "Five things about my country"
So I'm from India and I'll tell you guys everything about India country.

Five things i like about my country
(1). In India People of different religion, creed, color and culture lives together with a great sense of brotherhood. This real sense of diversity is only found in India. So basically it is "Unity"

(2). Indians are best at this called ‘Jugaad’. This is the most desirable managerial skills of Indian of all time. We believe in optimum utilization of everything in every possible way and if we couldn’t, we find a ‘Jugaad’ for it.

(3).In India North to south, east to west or any other possible direction, no matter wherever you go India, there are countless variations in taste, color and smell in every course of meal. We Indian people are fond of our food culture.

(4). India is country of events, from festivals to marriage ceremonies, from spiritual gatherings to political assemblies, series of programs in line, but the way people manage their personal or communal activities without hurting the sentiments of others is a great deal itself in India

(5). India Tourism is one of the fastest growing industries of the world. It plays a vital role in the economic development of a country. India is one of the popular tourist destinations in Asia. Bounded by the Himalayan ranges in the north and surrounded, on three sides by water , India offers a wide array of places to see and things to do. The enchanting backwaters, hill stations and landscapes make India a beautiful country. They attract tourists from all over the world.

Five things I dislike about my country

  1. India is still developing in terms of infrastructure. Sure, India stinks. With a billion people, open toilets, and free ranging holy cows there are many villages and towns that are undeveloped no Streets at all.

  2. It gets too hot in India during summers. The weather in India does change with the seasons. India has hot summers, pleasant springs, really wet monsoons and extremely cold winters. More importantly, the weather is not the same throughout the country.

  3. Its crowded here, Sure, India is crowded. There’s more than a billion people that live in a country half the size of the United States. That means if you look around, and turn every one person you see into SEVEN, you’ve got something more like India.

  4. Power cuts in India. Here in some cities of India power gets cut much oftenly. That's another thing that i really dislike in India. Even While typing this article, the electricity board cut off the power supply. The reason - a storm last night which lasted for 15 to 20 minutes.

  5. Politicians, The topic of politicians is an easy one. Everything appalling and more can be said of them and one will still remain below the truth. In their defense, they are part of a system which is uniquely based on votes. To win votes, one needs money and all compromises are permissible to get the required funds 'to serve the people'. It is true the world over, but here like in many other domains India excels.

Five things i would do to improve life in my country

  1. Farmers income should be doubled, In India farmers make up nearly half of the country's workforce. Over 70 per cent of the rural households depend on agriculture. Agriculture is an important sector of Indian economy as it contributes about 17% to the total GDP and provides employment to over 60% of the population.

  2. Employment opportunities, In a country like India, there is much reason for a large section of the population for being unemployed. In addition, the biggest reason of unemployment in India is its vast population which demands a large number of jobs every year which the government and authorities are unable to provide.

  3. Infrastructure development, In India there are still many towns and villages where there are no Roads at all. India's infrastructure spending is projected to accelerate to at least ₹50 lakh crore between Five year plan 2018 and Five year plan 2022. So that's a good thing and infrastructure development will be improved in upcoming days.

  4. Digital India, it is an initiative taken by Indian government. Because many people in India are not aware about digital payment and digital market or currencies. According to a survey 70% of Indian don't use internet because they don't understand it. This could be improved in the next generation people will be more educated.

  5. Environment, India has 10 of the world's 20 most polluted cities. That's another thing that needs to be improved in India. The only reason behind this is illiteracy and large number of people in country.

Five things people from elsewhere misunderstand about my country

  1. Indians Speak Hindu, Unfortunately, many foreigners make the mistake of confusing religion with language in India. Hindu is the religion, and Hindi is the language. Although every region in India has its own language, Hindi is a majority language with English widely spoken as a second language to many people elsewhere in India.

  2. Indians are Uneducated, This is probably the worst and most inaccurate misunderstanding by the foreigners. The truth is that education is extremely important in India. Even poor village families strive to give their children the best education possible because they know it's the key to a better future.

  3. Indian Cuisine is All Butter Chicken, That's note true each region in India has its own style of cooking. And, not all of it is spicy either. I'll give you some examples here. In Kerala, the use of coconut is popular. In Kolkata, the menu commonly features seafood such as fish or prawns. Down south, rice is favored. In the north, people prefer Indian bread such as naan cooked in the tandoor afterall Indian cuisine is among the top ten popular cuisines in the world

  4. Indians Worship Millions of Gods, 330 million gods in India! Gods and goddesses with multiple heads and arms. Which is why many people think What kind of crazy religion is Hinduism? Actually, it's not what it seems. While Hindus do believe that god is in everything.

5.Indians are Corrupt, Unfortunately, corruption is a major concern in India. The problem grew in the years after India became Independent, and started from the top level of government. But not everyone is corrupt right? Illegal things happens everywhere in the world. There are scammers everywhere not just in India. So don't judge 100 people by 10 peoples.

Five unusual facts about my country

India is the most amazing country of the World. There are lot of mind blowing facts about India which are not yet popular and known to all people.

(1). If you have read Bhagvad Gita, Ramayan, Mahabharata then you will realize that there is not even a single text which mentions the word "Hindu". It was a name which was given by foreigners because our land was on other side of river "Indus" and hence came the name "Hindu". But eventually, some people made it a religion.
