Sleeves #freewrites

Even though i sew well and made most of my own dresses, clothes didn't come to mind when i saw the prompt 'sleeves'.

The first thing i thought of was a series i saw earlier this year, 'Altered carbon'. It was a great series. The series took us 300years into the future and about how technology had change things. In this era, a person's memory is stored into something called cortical stack which is implanted into the neck. This way, you can only and truly be killed when the cortical slack is destroyed. If not, once you die and your cortical stack is still intact, all that is needed is for you to pay for another 'sleeve'(body) and the stack is implanted back into the body and you are back to being you with a whole new sleeve(body).

It was intriguing.

And as usual,the rich enjoyed the benefits the most since they can afford whatever they want.

The series was about love, loyalty, betrayal, sex and courage.

There were those fighting to turn back things.
The series was based on the book altered carbon by the writer, Richard. K morgan. I wonder how the book was. Epic, I think.

If you would love to see something cool this holiday period, i would definitely reccommend that.
