The Lie- Review!

Thoughts of watching some movie wandered my mind since evening so I picked up my "prime" account and watched a movie called "The Lie" which turned out to be not a good choice though.

Basically it is a psychological thriller which is actual remake of some German film called- "We monsters" So the plot revolves around a girl called Kayla played by "Joey King" you might recall her from the movie Kissing both as I did. she is arrogant kindda teenage girl who is struck between her divorced parents and on her way with her father which is portrait by (Peter Sarsgaard) finds her friend midway and offered her a lift and later during drive both the girls stopped for the pee break and went out in snowy woods and out of blue Kayla screams and admits to her father that she pushed her friend off the bridge.

The story then started and led divorced parents to join hands and save their daughter from court of law. many events came, overall the story was cold and depressed. the parents went to an extend of killing someone (the lost girl's dad) and eventually struck with many problems in order to hide their daughter's crime.
But the most weird stuff that occurred was that the dead friend of Kyla was actually alive and they(Kyla and her friend) played a prank as the girl ran away to her boyfriend.
Just this part was exciting and that's it. Rest nothing was exciting and interesting to watch at all. the parents reaction to every stupidity of their child was so bland and nothing at all which seems so obnoxious. I didn't liked it at all and would not recommend you guys to watch it.
