The eye of the Dragon- Just finished!

Stephan King's famous book the eye of the dragon already got millions of best reviews and that first edition was released back in 1984, and I purchased one in 2020, clearly the horror friction has made pretty good market though.

I started the book two weeks ago, as could only gather half an hour barely every night to read it, it indeed is a different experience to read a book in one go and to read it as little bit everyday. which one do you prefer?

Anyways, lets get into the storyline. it is about victory of good over evil. The story revolved around a foul magician, a kingdom, a prince and few other characters. It is told from the perspective of narrator who speaks casually and frankly to the reader, frequently adding his own commentary on characters which made me intrigued and I felt like this is one of the best way to narrate.
I loved the details sometimes like it makes much easier to imagine but I hated that most of the times the scene was stretched and that became super boring and have to skip it up. The pictorial representation of certain scenes were just fine as the book haven't been revised lately so the pictures were mere rough sketches.
The plot was good but predictable which isn't bad but isn't good too. let me brief you all up on the story without being a spoil spot. In a kingdom there lived a king Roland his queen Sasha and prince called Peter. The main villain was a king's magician called Flagg.
He threw everyone off the way since decades to rule his malicious agendas for the kingdom, In order to do the same with this royal family, He was successful initially but putting peter behind the bars(for that era, up on the needle)and claimed fake allegations on him killing his king father Roland.
But this time Flagg won't be successful in his ambitions, so here you needs to read the book to find out how and why.
