My Epilogue Wasn't Scary | #FreeWrite [Epilogue]

Tabula Rasa—A blank slate—they said,
Just like everyone else that's how our story started;
Without any knowledge or clue,
Without armor, sword, or even shoe.


No knowledge of my purpose,
I felt I was hijacked and was thrown in a circus.
My emotions rumbled like a wild ride,
I can't control it—No rules to abide.


While confused and sulking in the corner,
I heard a voice that makes my soul warmer;
She said, "You have nothing because you are a Warrior,"
And a Warrior needs nothing—just a heart that is pure.

I thought epilogues was the most scary
but mine will just be plain reality...


This is my Life story, my Love story,
It could be crazy, flawed, and messy;
But a warrior we'll continue to protect,
Even if it means we'll continue to wound while you forget.
