I really enjoyed this poem. I love how it was not caught up in sentimentalism, but instead used metaphor, simile, and a number of other devices to make the message sparkle. So often poems that are devoted to love fall short when they tie themselves to sentimentalism, yours avoided this and transcended it. Great poem.
